Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
- Design and implement new features and functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Follow best practices and coding standards to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in Node.js development.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Node.js Developer.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js.
- Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in working with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.
