Exceed Petroleum (Pvt), Ltd is seeking a dedicated Account and Finance Executive with at least one year of experience to join our dynamic finance team. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting to ensure accurate financial management and compliance with established standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in using ERP software and advanced Excel functions to manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently. This position involves collaborating closely across departments to support the companys financial goals and maintain streamlined financial operations. As the Account and Finance Executive, you will lead and manage a small team of two individuals, guiding their daily tasks and development to enhance team performance. You will be responsible for preparing detailed financial reports, conducting thorough financial analysis, and ensuring adherence to taxation regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Effective communication and organizational skills are essential to serve as a link between finance and other business units, facilitating smooth financial processes and contributing to the overall fiscal health of Exceed Petroleum (Pvt), Ltd.
Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses adhering to GAAP standards.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate recording of transactions and timely payments.
- Develop and monitor budgets by coordinating with various departments to control expenditures and forecast financial performance.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
- Oversee taxation processes, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations and timely filing of tax returns.
- Utilize ERP software and advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables and formulas, to maintain and improve financial data management.
- Collaborate with external auditors and financial consultants during audits and financial reviews to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of two finance professionals, providing guidance and support to optimize their performance.
- Communicate financial information effectively across departments, preparing reports and presentations for management review.
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and financial controls to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
