Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial processes and ensuring compliance with tax filing procedures and regulations. The Accountant will work closely with internal departments to streamline financial operations and provide accurate financial insights to guide company decisions. Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
Prepare accurate financial reports and statements in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Ensure compliance with all tax obligations including preparation, filing, and adherence to tax regulations.
Lead and supervise a team of 23 accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
Conduct detailed financial analysis to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and identifying financial performance trends.
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and internal controls.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain up-to-date financial information and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor and implement improvements to current accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in managing sensitive financial information.
Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making by providing timely financial data and insights.
Ensure adherence to company policies and external regulations related to tax filing and financial compliance.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and inspections.
Maintain sound knowledge of the clothing industrys financial practices and market conditions relevant to accounting operations.
