- Provide test related information to the patients and guide patients in a proper manner
- Preparation of account sheet, dues & discount slips on a need basis
- Closing of credit card batches
- Tally panel slips with Finance department
- Verification of completed test history forms
- Maintain Operations by following policies and procedures
- Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and finger sticks.
- Verification of the patient by reading patient identification on office copy before sampling
- Maintains specimen integrity by using aseptic technique, following lab policies and procedures.
- Monitors glucose levels by performing glucose tests, recording results, and reporting results to the Pathologist
- Performs bleeding-times and clotting time tests by entering results to the hematology section.
- Maintains quality results by following department procedures and testing schedule; recording results in the quality-control log; identifying and reporting needed changes.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
- Home collection on need basis
- Maintain Inventory of phlebotomy area
- Maintain positive & professional attitude towards customers all the time.
- Verify that the tubes are correctly labeled and the specimen is collected in the right tube.
- Any other task assigned by the concerned operational head
