Excellists is seeking dedicated and qualified Online Subject Tutors (Competitive Hourly Rate) to provide high-quality education to students preparing for Cambridge IGCSE, GCSE, AS Level, and A Level examinations. Tutors will conduct lessons remotely from Home, delivering clear, engaging, and interactive instruction in subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Economics, Accounting and University Subjects. This role requires strong subject knowledge, excellent spoken English, and familiarity with Cambridge curricula to support diverse learners in achieving academic excellence. As part-time tutors, candidates must demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and reliability in providing scheduled lessons. Equipped with stable internet connections and suitable devices, tutors will have flexible teaching hours to accommodate student needs. The position offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with international students and make a meaningful impact through personalized, online education.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver online lessons in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English aligned with Cambridge IGCSE, GCSE, AS, A Level, AP and IB curricula.
- Explain complex concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student learning styles and needs.
- Engage students through interactive and motivating teaching techniques to foster academic interest and confidence.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain professionalism by ensuring timely attendance, prepared lesson materials, and effective communication.
- Utilize appropriate online teaching tools and technologies to create an effective virtual learning environment.
- Stay updated with subject content and examination formats to provide current and relevant instruction.
- Support students in developing study skills and exam techniques to enhance academic performance.
