The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination, Islamabad, is seeking applications for the position of Executive Director (BS-20) on a contract basis at the National Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (NIRM), Islamabad. Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the National Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, ensuring alignment with national health policies and objectives.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation programs and services to meet the needs of patients.
- Manage the institute’s operational activities, including budgeting, resource allocation, and staff supervision.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain high-quality healthcare delivery.
- Facilitate collaboration with government agencies, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote rehabilitation services.
- Lead initiatives for capacity building, staff development, and research within the institute.
- Monitor performance indicators and prepare regular reports for the Ministry of National Health Services.
- Represent the institute in national and international forums related to rehabilitation medicine.

Required Qualifications

- A medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate qualification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or a related specialty.
- Significant experience in clinical practice, preferably in rehabilitation medicine.
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare or medical institution.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare management, policy implementation, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Additional qualifications in healthcare management or public health will be considered an advantage.
- Experience working within government health departments or public sector healthcare institutions is preferred.
