NADRA is seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director / Director General to establish and lead N@DIR, a pioneering national research institute focused on biometrics, digital identity, and indigenous identity technologies. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the establishment and operationalization of N@DIR, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and infrastructure development.
- Develop and implement research agendas focused on biometrics, digital identity, and indigenous identity technologies, aligning with national priorities and global trends.
- Build and manage a high-performing team of researchers, technologists, and administrative staff to achieve the institute’s objectives.
- Foster partnerships and collaborations with government agencies, academic institutions, industry leaders, and international organizations to enhance research capabilities and impact.
- Oversee budget management, funding acquisition, and financial sustainability of the institute.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, ethical standards, and data privacy requirements in all research and operational activities.
- Represent N@DIR at national and international forums, promoting its mission and achievements.
- Drive innovation and technology transfer initiatives to support the commercialization and practical application of research outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with a focus on biometrics, digital identity, or cybersecurity.
- Proven leadership experience in managing research institutions, technology centers, or similar organizations, preferably in the public sector.
- Strong understanding of biometric systems, digital identity frameworks, and indigenous identity technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans and manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across government, academia, and industry sectors.
- Track record of securing research funding and managing budgets effectively.
- Familiarity with data protection laws, ethical considerations, and regulatory environments related to identity technologies.
