Siemens Pakistan Engineering Co. Ltd., a global leader in Smart Infrastructure, is looking for an Executive Engineer to join their team in Karachi. Key Responsibilities
Support the design, development, installation, and maintenance of automation solutions, grid control systems, SCADA, cybersecurity, and IT/OT technologies. Work closely with clients and engineering teams to define project requirements and specifications. Design, configure, and program both hardware and software components to meet project objectives. Test and troubleshoot SCADA systems to identify and resolve technical challenges. Provide training and technical support to clients and end-users to ensure smooth operation. Conduct research and data collection to aid project development. Perform site visits to gather information and ensure alignment with project goals. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout all phases. Participate in quality control processes to uphold product and service excellence. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing solution quality and operational efficiency. Maintain detailed project documentation and regularly report progress to management.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline is essential. Candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience managing project sites, executing design plans, and coordinating with contractors. A solid understanding of control systems, SCADA, IT/OT technologies, cybersecurity, and system installation is required. Familiarity with Siemens and Selta RTU devices, as well as Siemens Spectrum power systems, is highly desirable. Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are important for effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients.
