Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute merchandising strategies to boost brand visibility, enhance consumer engagement, and support sales growth. Collaborate closely with sales, business development, and market intelligence teams to optimize product placement, promotional materials, and in-store branding across multiple sales channels. Ensure merchandising efforts align with market trends, consumer behavior, and industry best practices.

- Develop and implement merchandising plans that improve product visibility and sales performance, ensuring consistency across both in-store and online platforms.
- Coordinate with regional teams to maintain uniform execution of merchandising initiatives across all sales channels.
- Plan, design, and manage the distribution of point-of-sale (POS) materials such as displays, banners, and promotional merchandise, ensuring timely deployment and replenishment.
- Liaise with external vendors for the production and procurement of merchandising assets, maintaining quality and delivery schedules.
- Support sales teams by providing guidance on store layouts, shelf placements, and visual merchandising to maximize customer engagement and conversion rates.
- Monitor compliance with merchandising standards and evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising initiatives using sales data and customer feedback.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging merchandising trends, benchmark strategies against competitors, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with business development and market intelligence teams to align merchandising efforts with sales and expansion strategies, leveraging insights on customer behavior and market trends.
- Assist in managing the merchandising budget, ensuring cost-effective execution of initiatives, and maintaining accurate records of expenditures.
- Prepare and present reports on merchandising performance and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in merchandising, trade marketing, or sales support, preferably within the telecom or FMCG industries.
- Knowledge of telecom infrastructure and network concepts.
- Awareness of product and service technical aspects.
- Skills in cost estimation, deployment planning, and the use of CRM, business intelligence, and data analytics for informed decision-making.
