Executive QAC Telco

The role involves overseeing all Non-Telco and Telco operations within the assigned geographical grid(s). The incumbent will ensure optimal network availability and efficient network operations while managing the operational expenditure (OPEX) budget. This position requires close supervision of network utilization, handling maintenance service (MS) related issues, leading field teams to resolve problems promptly, and continuously improving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to network management.

Key Responsibilities

- Network Availability: Monitor the performance of the grid and the activities carried out by field teams. Ensure strict adherence to network KPIs by overseeing timely preventive and corrective maintenance of the access network and generator sets (Gen-sets).

- OPEX Management: Manage the grid’s operations within the allocated OPEX budget. Implement measures to optimize operational costs, including electricity and diesel generator (DG) fuel consumption.

- Team Management: Supervise and support resources such as cluster owners, riggers, and fueling teams. Focus on enhancing their skills and competencies through targeted development initiatives. Collaborate with the regional Field Operations (FOPS) manager and Team Group Leaders (TGLs) to set monthly targets and KPIs for field teams. Conduct performance evaluations on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in managing network operations within a telecommunications or related infrastructure environment.
- Strong knowledge of network maintenance processes, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational budgets effectively, with a focus on cost optimization.
- Experience in leading and developing field teams, with a track record of improving team performance.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including regional managers and field personnel.
