The Manager - Alumni Affairs at IBA Karachi will be responsible for leading the Alumni Affairs function and fostering strong, long-term relationships with the institution’s alumni network. This role involves overseeing alumni engagement initiatives, managing events, communications, alumni chapters, database integrity, and fundraising activities. The Manager will also lead and develop the Alumni Affairs team to ensure effective execution of all alumni-related programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance alumni engagement and participation.
- Build and maintain relationships with alumni, batches, chapters, and key stakeholders.
- Plan and lead alumni events, networking activities, reunions, and other engagement initiatives.
- Address alumni queries promptly and ensure effective resolution.
- Manage and maintain the alumni database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Lead alumni communications, including newsletters, magazines, social media, WhatsApp groups, and other publications.
- Oversee and coordinate activities of IBA Alumni Chapters and their coordinators.
- Collaborate with the Resource Mobilization team to develop alumni fundraising and “Give Back to IBA” initiatives.
- Manage budgets, vendors, and operational requirements related to alumni activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Alumni Affairs team while monitoring their performance.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of alumni initiatives.
- Track and report on key alumni engagement activities and performance indicators.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in alumni relations, community engagement, stakeholder management, event management, and communications.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with databases, CRM systems, and digital communication platforms.
- Strong event planning, project management, and reporting abilities.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and digital engagement strategies.
