Experienced Estimator-Us Market

Arrant Construction is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in the US construction market to join their Karachi office on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in construction estimating, specializing in commercial and industrial projects within the United States. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project drawings, and developing competitive bids. The position demands familiarity with US construction costs, materials, labor rates, and industry standards, along with the ability to work according to US business hours when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed construction cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects targeting the US market.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, specifications, and related project documentation.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Develop accurate bid proposals, budgets, and cost breakdowns.
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Utilize estimating software and digital takeoff tools to enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Identify potential cost risks, discrepancies, and scope gaps prior to bid submission.
- Ensure timely delivery of estimates while maintaining accuracy and completeness.
- Stay informed on current US construction costs, labor rates, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ experience in construction estimating.
- Strong understanding of the US construction industry and bidding processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Skilled in quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid preparation.
- Experience working with estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, OST, or similar tools is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and construction cost documentation.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple bids simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines.
- Willingness to work according to US business hours when required.
