We are looking for high caliber professional for following position based at our office in Islamabad.

 Expert – Programme Design & Donor Coordination

The incumbent will be responsible to develop and write donor proposals and concept notes based on organization’s strategy, approach and donor interest and requirements. He/she will conduct prospect research on donor agencies and corporations to evaluate prospects for corporate and donor grants. The role requires implementing new research techniques as they arise; striving to design prospect research methodology for the organization. He/she will be the custodian of documentation of institutional knowledge and program activities in coordination with relevant sector coordinators and organization’s management. The incumbent will develop quality grant proposals according to set guidelines; comply with all follow-up grants reporting as required by all stakeholders. He/she will have to prioritize projects to keep multiple projects moving in a timely manner, meet deadlines and manage supplemental material required for proposals. The person will identify information and supporting documents, required to furnish proposal requirements. The role requires establishing and maintaining contact and relationships with donor agencies’ contacts and program officers. Able to track statistics relevant to development and provide with written materials necessary for donor stewardship. Have to work with other units to gather information necessary to report to corporate/foundation funders on current grant programs.

The ideal candidate must have at least 16 years of education or Master’s degree in English Literature, Communication, Social Sciences, Management or related discipline from a HEC recognized national or international institution. The person will have minimum 10 years of experience in professional writing including successful proposals to institutional donors, grant writing or other technical writing experience. Demonstrated experience in using online databases and other sources to locate biographical, financial, and relevant information. The ability to seek and synthesize information and communicate in a compelling and succinct form. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a highly-organized individual. Exceptional research and analytical skills to swift through funding opportunities and analyze information, understand calls for proposal and TORs and present these in a coherent and succinct form. Must be able to communicate clearly and sensitively with external stakeholders. Team player with collaborative management style to delegate tasks in the team along with excellent leadership, coaching and interpersonal skills. He/she shall have the ability to manage professional relationships efficiently and effectively. Must be able to think strategically and a result oriented individual with good decision making, analytical and problem solving skills.
