Expert Data Center Infra Operations

JazzWorld is seeking an experienced Expert Data Center Infra Operations professional to support the backbone of Pakistan’s digital future. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the operations, optimization, and modernization of Data Centers and Core Network sites. Working under the guidance of the Manager DCIO, you will collaborate closely with Technology teams, Business Partners, SCM/Finance, CRA, Enterprise, Customers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and timely execution of projects. The position emphasizes Data Center KPI management, operational excellence, energy optimization, OPEX reduction, and the adoption of AI-driven automation.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Data Center passive infrastructure KPI performance and availability are consistently met.
- Oversee operations and maintenance of DGs, ATS, UPS, rectifiers, batteries, FDSS, and precision cooling systems, ensuring SLA compliance with Facility Lifecycle Management (FLM) partners.
- Plan and implement initiatives focused on Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) optimization, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Drive operational excellence by continuously improving systems and processes.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 27001 physical security standards, PTA regulations, and TIA-942 guidelines at certified sites, while supporting legacy sites in certification preparation.
- Monitor and analyze Data Center infrastructure performance using DCIM and other monitoring tools.
- Manage white-space utilization within Data Centers according to industry standards.
- Analyze power and cooling system utilization, support capacity forecasting, and manage end-of-life (EOL) cycles for infrastructure components.
- Lead AI adoption and automation efforts across infrastructure operations to enhance efficiency.
- Review and update DCIO Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with evolving business requirements.
- Conduct regular performance review meetings with FLM Business Partners.
- Perform joint visits for new service and system installations, infrastructure expansions, audits, and external customer engagements, providing actionable feedback.
- Prepare project plans and coordinate with Planning and Technology teams to ensure timely delivery of Data Center modernization, expansion, and greenfield projects.
- Manage inventory and assets related to Data Centers and Core Sites.
- Review and process FLM invoices for regional sites in accordance with SOPs.
- Support line management with routine and special assignments as required.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in ICT Passive Infrastructure and Power Systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Systems Engineering from a reputable university.
- Strong knowledge of TIA-942 Rated III and Uptime Tier III standards.
- Proven experience in ICT and Core Passive Infrastructure project management.
- Demonstrated focus on AI adoption and system/process automation.
- Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven, results-oriented approach.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, conflict management, teamwork, and collaboration abilities.
