JazzWorld, Pakistan’s fastest-growing digital ecosystem, operates across connectivity, financial services, entertainment, lifestyle, enterprise, and software services. We are seeking a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to support the development and execution of strategic investment opportunities across various markets. This role, based in Pakistan and reporting directly to VEON HQ, involves financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and transaction execution. You will collaborate with internal teams and external advisors across functions and geographies, gaining exposure to transactions in the TMT, fintech, and digital sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of the M&A pipeline across VEON markets.
- Perform detailed financial analysis and valuation, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable-company, and precedent-transaction analysis.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and materials for internal stakeholders to aid decision-making.
- Build and maintain a knowledge repository of TMT, fintech, and digital transactions, including peer benchmarks.
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence workstreams and liaise with external advisors.
- Assist in transaction execution, including preparation and review of key deal documentation.
- Track post-transaction key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess performance against the original deal rationale.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an MBA in Finance/Accounting and/or professional certifications such as ACCA, CFA, or CA are highly desirable.
- 4 to 6+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development/M&A, private equity, venture capital, or related fields.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including proficiency in DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
- Solid understanding of TMT, fintech, and digital business models.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end M&A process, including due diligence and transaction execution.
- Excellent analytical, structuring, and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies with a high degree of ownership.
- Proven experience supporting transactions through screening, financial modeling, and due diligence coordination.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial data and market intelligence platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv, and Factiva.
- Understanding of legal documentation and key commercial terms involved in transactions.
