Export Manager

Global Exports Pakistan, based in Karachi, is seeking an experienced Export Manager to oversee the export operations of rice, sesame, and maize products. The ideal candidate will independently manage export documentation, accounting, and bank financing related to these commodities. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of handling complex export processes while maintaining strong relationships with banks and logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage all export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and submissions to banks.
- Handle letters of credit, export collections, and ensure timely follow-up on export proceeds.
- Liaise directly with banks concerning export financing, working capital facilities, credit limits, renewals, and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate accounts, perform bank reconciliations, manage receivables and payables, and track shipment-wise costing.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and inspection agencies to ensure smooth shipment processes.
- Monitor shipment deadlines, buyer payments, financing costs, and outstanding obligations to maintain operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in rice exports is mandatory.
- Proven hands-on experience in export documentation, accounting, and bank financing matters.
- Ability to independently manage banking relationships and resolve any discrepancies in documentation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and diligent follow-up.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sesame and maize exports will be considered an advantage.
