Export Merchandiser - Hosiery & Sportswear - TJ / 1901239

Leavalley Sports is seeking an experienced Export Merchandiser specializing in hosiery and sportswear products based in Sialkot. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in export merchandising, with a strong focus on clubs and hosiery items. This role demands a detail-oriented and proactive professional who can manage the entire merchandising process from order booking through to shipment. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle international buyers effectively are essential. A solid understanding of production processes, fabrics, trims, and accessories related to hosiery and sportswear is required to ensure product quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate all merchandising activities from order booking to shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Communicate regularly with international buyers to understand their requirements and provide updates on order status.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of orders, production schedules, and shipment details using MS Excel and other relevant tools.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to monitor progress in cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards.
- Work with sampling and quality control teams to verify that samples and finished goods meet client specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Manage inventory of fabrics, trims, and accessories related to hosiery and sportswear to avoid production delays.
- Ensure compliance with inspection procedures and quality standards, following up promptly to resolve any discrepancies.
- Address client concerns professionally and promptly to build and maintain strong, sustainable buyer relationships.
- Handle multiple orders simultaneously by prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Keep accurate records of shipments, production timelines, and client communications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the merchandising process to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of five years’ experience in export merchandising, preferably in hosiery and sportswear.
- Strong knowledge of the merchandising process, including order booking, production, and shipment.
- Excellent communication and client handling skills, especially with international buyers.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation for accurate tracking and reporting.
- In-depth understanding of fabrics, trims, and accessories used in hosiery and sportswear.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams such as production, sampling, and quality control.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage complex orders efficiently.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced export environment.
