Export Officer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Export Officer to join our team in Islamabad. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in B2B international business, specifically in export operations and managing overseas customers. This role requires a professional who can effectively handle export documentation, coordinate shipments, and develop new international business opportunities. Candidates with experience limited to B2C, retail, or domestic sales will not be considered. The position demands full-time availability in Islamabad and a strong command of international trade practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage international B2B export operations and maintain strong relationships with overseas customers.
- Identify and develop new international business opportunities to expand the company’s export portfolio.
- Generate export leads and communicate effectively with international buyers.
- Prepare export-related documents including quotations, proforma invoices, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Handle export documentation, customs clearance, and shipping procedures to ensure smooth delivery.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics providers for timely shipment execution.
- Manage international customer inquiries, negotiate terms, and process orders efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export requirements.
- Oversee international payment terms such as Letters of Credit (LC), Telegraphic Transfers (TT), and advance payments.
- Maintain accurate export sales records, track shipments, and conduct customer follow-ups.
- Achieve assigned export sales and business development targets.
- Collaborate with internal departments to guarantee timely order fulfillment and shipment dispatch.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) from a recognized institution.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in B2B export operations and international business.
- Proven practical experience working directly with international B2B customers is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of international trade, export documentation, and shipping procedures.
- Experience in overseas market development and conducting international business negotiations.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Full-time availability to work onsite in Islamabad.

- Expertise in international B2B sales and business development.
- In-depth understanding of export documentation and compliance requirements.
- Skilled in international customer relationship management.
- Experience coordinating freight forwarding and shipping logistics.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international payment methods.
- Ability to conduct market research and generate qualified leads.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial communication capabilities.
- Experience with ERP or CRM software systems is advantageous.
