JOB PURPOSE
The personal assistant will perform routine secretarial and administrative work such as handling responsibilities like typing, drafting emails, handling phone calls, scheduling meetings etc. and must be comfortable with working on Saturdays.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for:
Arranging travel, visas and accommodation and, occasionally, travelling with the manager to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations;
Dealing with incoming email, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of the manager;
Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate;
Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority;
Organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments;
Carrying out background research and presenting findings;
Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations;
Organizing and attending meetings and ensuring the manager is well prepared for meetings;
REQUIREMENTS
Experience
No prior experience required.
Qualification
Intermediate/ A-Levels/BA, B.Com
Skills
Fluency in English is a must
Good English drafting skills
Comfortable with computer operations
