We are looking for a Linux System Admin resource to join our team at Islamabad and work with our overseas clients. This person will maintain our servers, manage cloud accounts and hosted websites, create development infrastructure and ensure security and availability of online systems and resources.
Responsibilities
· Installing, configuring and managing Linux based servers and applications.
· Installing and configuring SMTP mail servers and transactional email systems.
· Linux OS administration, security and vulnerability management.
· Configure, and maintain (virtual) server environments.
· Scripting based on Pearl / Shell for creating and automating tasks and job.
· Develop, implement, and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for servers.
Core Skills
Major Linux distros (Red Hat, Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu), scripting languages, cloud management, network/server security. SMTP and transactional email systems. Knowledge of virtualization, dockers/containers.
