The ACR tax service line is composed of experienced professionals dedicated to providing efficient, high-quality tax resources to companies in the region. Our approach emphasizes quality, risk management, operational efficiency, and value creation through standardized processes, effective tools, and a strong network of local tax and accounting experts. In this role, you will deliver integrated tax compliance services, including statutory accounts preparation and tax accounting support, unlocking the full potential of the compliance function.

As part of the MENA team, you will lead a group responsible for delivering exceptional tax services across diverse industries. You will oversee service delivery, coordinate issue resolution, and manage contracts for large-scale projects. This includes managing and aligning the efforts of EY teams across the region to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Support client engagements by coordinating with clients and internal teams, managing deadlines, and tracking engagement economics.
- Assist clients with financial digital processes such as year-end closings, audit support, financial statements, tax compliance (corporate and VAT returns), general accounting, credit control, and internal optimization projects.
- Prepare management reports, budgeting, analytical bookkeeping, and conduct financial health and competitor analyses.
- Oversee day-to-day client engagement requirements, monitor progress and deliverables, implement standardized processes, identify and mitigate risks, resolve or escalate issues, and drive performance improvements.
- Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams by fostering a positive learning culture and coaching junior members.
- Manage engagement economics and communicate significant issues, fees, and estimates to partners and clients.
- Ensure compliance with Tax Quality guidelines throughout service delivery.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or related fields.
- Advanced degree such as MBA, Master’s, or professional qualifications including CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a large professional services firm or similar environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and relevant tax rules, procedures, and guidelines.
- Practical experience with regulatory topics such as Prudential Reporting, Structural Reform, accounting and compliance innovations, or business audit skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
