Key Responsibilities
Assist in conducting regular building inspections to identify and report maintenance issues across various systems, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical, security, structural elements, doors and windows, elevators, exterior upkeep, furniture, fixtures, fire safety equipment, cleanliness, hygiene, and energy efficiency. Perform scheduled site visits to SCB sites and branch locations to gain hands-on asset management experience and deepen technical knowledge of mechanical systems and facility components. Promptly report findings to maintain a safe, efficient, and professional work environment.
Participate in a structured learning program covering essential business support topics, completing assignments and modules delivered by industry experts, culminating in a Portfolio of Evidence. Support internal space management and team relocation processes, monitor and manage inventory of office supplies and consumables, and assist in coordinating internal office moves and organizing both in-house and external events.
Collaborate with the Building Operations Team to understand and report on Health & Safety status. Shadow and support the Facilities Coordinator in vendor management and Soft Service Support activities, while observing and learning from senior team members about building operations and service contract management. Assist in tracking and analyzing basic financial data related to facilities management, participate in vendor selection processes and vendor performance review meetings.
Learn about JLL’s minimum operational audit and safety standards and assist with compliance checks. Attend client meetings alongside supervisors to gain insight into client relationship management within facilities. Engage in local innovation programs and contribute ideas for process improvements. Assist in preparing service-related reports and familiarize yourself with JLL’s reporting protocols. Receive training on facilities management-specific IT tools and platforms.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; no prior experience is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, is necessary.
Skills and Attributes
A proactive and hands-on approach to tasks is important, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks are required. A customer service orientation is also valued.
