Factory Manager

The Factory Manager will oversee the daily manufacturing operations at Talha Elevators’ Lahore facility. This full-time, on-site role involves planning and supervising production schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring that elevator cabins, doors, and related components meet stringent quality, safety, and compliance standards. The manager will monitor workflow, address operational challenges, and lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing efficiency and minimizing waste. Additionally, the role requires managing factory staff, implementing standard operating procedures, collaborating with procurement and logistics teams, and reporting key performance metrics to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure timely production and adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate production schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and manage workflows to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor factory operations, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Lead and manage factory staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and smooth supply chain operations.
- Oversee quality control processes to guarantee that all products meet safety and performance requirements.
- Report operational performance, challenges, and progress to senior management regularly.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Industrial & Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Management, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production management within a factory environment.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end manufacturing operations, including production planning and resource coordination.
- Strong expertise in implementing and maintaining quality control systems aligned with safety and performance standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and conflict resolution in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to industrial production.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Age range: 40 to 50 years.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in factory or plant management, especially within the elevator, engineering, or construction-related industries, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of elevator or mechanical equipment manufacturing will be considered a plus.

Compensation:
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from PKR 100,000 to PKR 150,000, commensurate with experience and suitability.

Location:
The role is based at the Talha Elevators manufacturing facility in Lahore.
