Our client, GumCorp, is looking for a highly experienced and motivated Factory Operations Manager to lead their manufacturing facility in Karachi, Pakistan. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all factory operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring output targets and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies, eliminate waste, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Maintain stringent quality control systems from raw material inspection through to finished goods, minimizing defects and customer complaints.
- Effectively manage inventory levels, optimize stock flow, and streamline supply chain processes to guarantee timely delivery of materials and finished products.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, promoting a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
- Supervise maintenance activities for all factory equipment, including casting, molding, CNC, and compression machines, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Utilize ERP and MES software tools to monitor production performance, analyze operational data, and make informed decisions for process improvements and strategic planning.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in factory operations management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Industrial Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Expertise in production planning and control.
- Strong knowledge of quality control and assurance practices.
- Proven skills in inventory management and supply chain optimization.
- Comprehensive understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with ERP systems and MES software for production monitoring.
- Demonstrated ability in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
