We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Support Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing technical support and troubleshooting for various systems and software applications. As a System Support Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's systems, resolving technical issues, and providing assistance to end-users.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network systems.
2. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
3. Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by end-users in a timely manner.
4. Collaborate with IT team members to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
5. Monitor system performance and conduct routine maintenance tasks.
6. Document technical procedures and system configurations.
7. Train end-users on the use of systems and software applications.
8. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve system efficiency.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Minimum 4 years of experience in system support or a similar role.
3. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
4. Strong knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows.
5. Experience with system monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
8. Relevant certifications preferred.
