Vehicle Asset Management Coordinator

Faisal Movers is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Asset Management Coordinator to oversee the efficient operation and management of its bus fleet. This role requires coordination with drivers, maintenance teams, and operations to ensure optimal vehicle availability, maintenance scheduling, and utilization. The coordinator will manage driver assignments, trip schedules, and meticulously track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance to minimize downtime and disruptions. The position involves preparing detailed fleet performance reports and recommending strategies for cost control and operational improvement. With responsibility for a team of 20 personnel, the coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth fleet operations, asset tracking, and adherence to compliance standards. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field and possesses at least three years of experience in fleet or vehicle asset management. Mastery of advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data validation, is essential to support data analysis and reporting duties. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities are critical, along with proven experience in managing multiple vehicles and drivers concurrently. Experience within the bus transportation industry will be a valuable asset. This role demands precision in coordinating operational activities while maintaining accurate records and enhancing fleet efficiency across all aspects.
Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the operational status, availability, and utilization of the bus fleet to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Coordinate effectively with drivers, operations teams, and maintenance workshops to facilitate seamless fleet operations and timely maintenance activities.
• Maintain and update driver assignments, duty rosters, vehicle allocation, and trip schedules for optimized resource deployment.
• Track vehicle movements, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules accurately to uphold operational standards and reduce breakdowns.
• Oversee vehicle downtime and breakdown incidents proactively to minimize disruptions and initiate corrective measures promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive records of bus deployment, availability, and asset utilization for audit and performance purposes.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly fleet performance reports employing advanced data analysis techniques and present these reports to management.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and develop actionable recommendations to enhance fleet utilization and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal policies in all vehicle asset management processes.
• Supervise and support a team of 20 personnel, facilitating collaboration, performance monitoring, and operational goal achievement.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create dashboards, pivot tables, and perform complex data analysis for reporting and decision-making purposes.
• Implement and maintain inventory control measures and asset tracking systems to safeguard fleet assets and optimize inventory levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align fleet operations with business objectives and customer satisfaction standards.
• Conduct regular reviews of fleet performance metrics and maintenance records to forecast operational needs and suggest strategic improvements.
