POSITION SUMMARY The Falcon Management Company (Pvt) Ltd. HR Specialist is responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior management.  This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas including, but not limited to: benefits administration, employee relations, training, HRIS system, onboarding, policy development and implementation, recruitment/employment and labor law compliance.  Works under tight deadlines and heavy volume of work, within a fast paced quality focused environment.  Work as subject matter professional on issues relating to human resource administration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Keep abreast of current benefits administration requirements and relevant laws associated with the administration of employee benefits
  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
  • Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports for management as requested.
  • Crosstrain Corp Team Members when needed.
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all employments types, conducts onboarding, conducts new employee orientations; writes and places advertisements.
  • Assists with handling employee relations, conflict resolution, counseling and exit interviews.
  • Assists the CEO, Director of Finance and Accounts, and Senior Management when needed.
  • Prepares and manages monthly payroll
  • Keeps and manages the complete leave record as per the company policy of probation
  • Manages all probation and annual assessments with the HODs and senior management, on time
  • Helps the company with Employee development and Employee Engagement, birthdays, company outings, company gatherings etc.
  • Help with OD (Organizational Development)

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Graduate or Undergraduate Degree in human resources or related subject, or equivalent experience preferred with a minimum of four years related experience with progressive responsibilities.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Solid computer skills including MS Word – particularly mail merge, MS Excel – develops and maintains spreadsheets, tables and charts.  Manage Microsoft outlook; contacts, calendar scheduling, and email.  Internet Explorer and search engine.
  • Some understanding of the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated accounting system.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion (Absolute MUST)
  • Excellent problem solving /judgment skills and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks with strong follow-up skills and meet all deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in written form effectively with all levels of employees and clients (English)
  • Builds and maintains cooperative working relationships.
  • Accepts and adjusts to changes in work priorities willingly and efficiently.
  • Strong grammar and proof reading skills.
  • Resourceful, dependable and accountable.
  • Strong recruitment skills

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS PHR and any other HR related courses and certifications are a plus PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT

Sitting for extended periods is common.  Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed.  May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.  Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day.  Proper lifting techniques required.  May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.  Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and printers.  Also included is the ability to open and close common business filing cabinets. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
