We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as an entry-level accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience to kick-start their career in accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in accounting or finance and a willingness to learn and grow within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries and general ledger postings
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations
- Support senior accountants and accounting managers as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (experience with QuickBooks is a plus)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
