Fashion Curator

We are seeking a passionate Fashion Merchandiser / Curator who lives and breathes fashion, thrifting, and discovering unique pieces before they hit the mainstream. This role goes beyond traditional merchandising and inventory planning. Instead, you will focus on curating collections that appeal directly to resellers by researching and identifying trends, brands, and products across various resale platforms. Your expertise will help shape collections that resonate with the reseller community and drive commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

- Continuously research resale platforms such as Vinted, Depop, eBay, and others to uncover interesting products, brands, styles, and emerging trends.
- Build thoughtfully curated collections based on market insights and reseller demand.
- Identify key brands, aesthetics, categories, and individual pieces that have strong resale potential.
- Develop collections around specific trends, seasons, brands, and customer preferences.
- Understand what makes a collection commercially attractive to resellers, balancing style with sellability.
- Analyze reseller profiles and inventories to determine buying patterns, gaps, and opportunities.
- Track and spot emerging fashion trends early to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with sourcing and operations teams to translate curated selections into actual inventory.
- Influence homepage merchandising decisions by advising on what should be featured.
- Cultivate a strong brand perspective and voice, becoming the face and spokesperson for the company’s merchandising vision.
- Regularly present your curated finds, collections, and fashion insights through short-form video content and social media channels.

Required Qualifications

- Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Buying, Fashion Business, or a related field.
- Genuine passion for thrifting and preloved fashion.
- Strong understanding of Western fashion markets, brands, aesthetics, and trends.
- Familiarity and enjoyment in browsing resale platforms like Vinted, Depop, and eBay.
- Excellent eye for styling, product selection, and building cohesive collections.
- Ability to differentiate between what is simply “cool” and what will sell well in the reseller market.
- Natural curiosity and a proactive approach to staying updated on fashion developments.
- Skilled at spotting brands and trends before they become mainstream.
- Comfortable making decisions based on a combination of fashion intuition and data analysis.
- Confident and articulate in front of the camera, able to communicate the value and story behind collections and pieces.
- Strong storytelling skills to explain why a particular collection, brand, or item matters to resellers.
