Fashion Designer – Luxury Pret

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop luxury pret collections that reflect and enhance the brand’s unique identity.
- Conduct thorough research on global fashion trends, fabrics, embellishments, and techniques to produce innovative and trend-forward designs.
- Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and digital renderings to visualize new collections effectively.
- Select premium fabrics, embellishments, and textures that add sophistication and exclusivity to each piece.
- Collaborate closely with patternmakers, artisans, and production teams to ensure the highest quality in execution.
- Oversee sample development, fittings, and necessary adjustments to perfect each design.
- Maintain awareness of competitors and industry trends to keep the brand at the forefront of luxury fashion.
- Work in partnership with marketing and merchandising teams to align designs with customer preferences and business objectives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience designing luxury pret or couture collections.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating refined aesthetics, intricate detailing, and expertise in luxury fashion.
- In-depth knowledge of fabrics, embroidery techniques, draping, and garment construction.
- Proven ability to create bespoke, statement pieces that embody sophistication and exclusivity.
- Exceptional attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
