The Fashion Designer position at Constructiv Group is a full-time remote role. The designer will be responsible for developing concepts and collections that align with the brand’s aesthetic and market demands. This includes creating sketches and technical drawings, selecting fabrics, trims, and textile treatments, and collaborating closely with pattern makers and production teams. The role requires overseeing fittings to refine garment silhouettes and construction, ensuring that all products meet quality, fit, and performance standards. Additionally, the designer will research fashion trends, materials, and consumer preferences, prepare mood boards and design presentations, and work with cross-functional partners to guide designs from concept through sampling to final production. Maintaining organized documentation of designs, specifications, and revisions while adhering to project timelines and brand guidelines is essential in this remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop fashion concepts and cohesive collections through sketching and technical drawings.
- Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and textile treatments that support the brand’s vision.
- Collaborate with pattern makers and production teams to ensure garment quality and fit.
- Oversee fittings and refine silhouettes and construction details.
- Conduct research on fashion trends, materials, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
- Prepare mood boards and design presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the design process from initial concept through sampling to final production.
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all designs, specifications, and revisions.
- Meet project deadlines while working effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.

Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in fashion design, including concept development, sketching, and translating ideas into collections.
- Proficiency in textiles and embroidery, with knowledge of fabric selection, textile properties, and decorative techniques.
- Experience with garment fitting, construction, and collaboration with pattern makers or technical designers.
- Competency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar CAD tools, including the ability to create technical flats and spec sheets.
- Understanding of the full apparel development lifecycle, from trend research and material sourcing to sampling and production.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills suited for remote teamwork.
- Strong organizational abilities, time management, and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Relevant education in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in apparel design.
