KORA, a dynamic fashion brand under Prestige Textile (Pvt.) Ltd., is dedicated to blending expert apparel manufacturing with innovative design to create styles that appeal to today’s modern consumer. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our team and help realize KORA’s design vision through fresh and compelling collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Research current fashion trends, silhouettes, colors, fabrics, and emerging styles that align with KORA’s target market.
- Develop original designs, concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal collections.
- Create technical sketches, design specifications, and detailed tech packs to support product development.
- Collaborate closely with product development, merchandising, and production teams to transform concepts into finished garments.
- Select appropriate fabrics, trims, washes, finishes, and other garment details to enhance design quality.
- Manage sampling, fittings, and revisions to ensure the final product meets design intent and quality standards.
- Maintain alignment of all designs with KORA’s established brand identity.
- Stay informed about local and international fashion trends to keep collections relevant and competitive.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fashion design or apparel product development; fresh graduates with relevant exposure are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, fit, and finishing techniques.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or other relevant design software.
- Ability to prepare detailed technical sketches, specifications, and comprehensive tech packs.
- A keen creative eye with strong attention to detail and an understanding of contemporary fashion aesthetics.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively across departments.
