Fashion Sourcing & Operations Specialist

We are a dynamic fashion-tech startup focused on enabling overseas customers to shop and customize authentic Pakistani fashion. We are seeking a resourceful, fashion-savvy, and highly motivated individual based in Karachi to join our team in an on-ground role. This position involves working directly across Karachi’s markets, malls, designers, vendors, and tailoring networks to source products, coordinate custom orders, resolve challenges, and ensure timely and accurate completion of every order. The ideal candidate is a proactive go-getter who communicates effectively, moves quickly, and consistently finds solutions rather than excuses.

Key Responsibilities
- Source clothing, fabrics, jewelry, shoes, and accessories aligned with customer preferences and budgets.
- Coordinate custom stitching, alterations, and bespoke orders with tailors and vendors.
- Conduct regular visits to markets, malls, designers, and suppliers throughout Karachi.
- Identify alternatives when requested products, prices, fabrics, or timelines are unavailable.
- Negotiate pricing and build a dependable vendor and tailoring network.
- Manage the full order lifecycle from sourcing and production to quality checks and dispatch.
- Ensure strict adherence to customer specifications including sizing, colors, fabrics, and workmanship.
- Maintain high responsiveness through WhatsApp and other company communication channels.
- Provide timely updates with photos, videos, and order status reports.
- Occasionally support social media content creation during market visits.

Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Pakistani fashion, fabrics, trends, designers, and Karachi markets.
- Proven ability to act with urgency and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Urdu.
- Highly organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable using digital tools and maintaining prompt communication via WhatsApp.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Female candidate based in Karachi, preferably centrally located for easy access to major fashion hubs.
- Reliable personal transportation or access to public transit.
- Own a mobile phone and laptop for work purposes.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Karachi for sourcing and order execution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fashion, retail, textile, merchandising, sourcing, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This role is ideal for someone eager to grow professionally, motivated by results, and looking for a compensation structure that rewards performance. The position offers a retainer plus a performance-based commission, with total monthly earnings ranging from Rs34,000 to Rs150,000 depending on order completion success.
