STUDENT Counsellor

Fast Consultants is seeking a dedicated Student Counsellor with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses a presentable personality and a good-looking, smiling face, enabling them to engage positively with students. This role focuses on providing effective guidance and support to students, ensuring their academic and personal development. The Student Counsellor must demonstrate excellent communication and convincing skills to effectively counsel students and help them make informed decisions about their educational paths. The position requires strong multitasking abilities to handle various counselling tasks and interactions efficiently. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the candidate will collaborate with other departments to align student needs with institutional goals. The counsellor acts as a bridge between students and the institution, fostering a supportive environment that encourages growth and success.
Responsibilities

Conduct individual and group counselling sessions with students to address academic, personal, and social concerns.
Provide accurate and relevant information about available educational programs, career options, and institutional policies.
Develop personalized plans to support students academic progress and personal development.
Use excellent communication skills to engage and convince students about appropriate academic and career choices.
Manage multiple counselling appointments and administrative tasks efficiently through effective multitasking.
Maintain up-to-date records of student interactions and counselling outcomes in compliance with institutional procedures.
Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to identify student needs and coordinate supportive services.
Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and events designed to enhance student skills and motivation.
Handle inquiries from students and parents professionally, providing clear and helpful information.
Stay informed about changes in educational practices, career trends, and counselling techniques to continually improve service delivery.
