- Lead IT department; including the design and development of IT system and services.
- Managing IT staff by recruiting, training employees, communicating job expectations and monitoring performance.
- Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost effectiveness.
- Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software and operating system.
- Coordinating technology installations, upgrades and maintenance.
- Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
- Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes and regulations
- Coordinating the biometric attendance system with the HR and ensuring the generation of Attendance Report on daily/ weekly and monthly basis.
- Addressing the IT related academic needs of the institute, including but not limited to online education sessions, online examinations, online scheduling and online feedback etc.
- Maintaining and upgrading the existing website of the college and adding relevant features to it as and when the need arise.
