Rice Mill Electric Engineer

Fatima Rice Mills is seeking a skilled Rice Mill Electric Engineer with at least two years of experience. The ideal candidate has a strong background in preventive maintenance, motor control, and power distribution specifically tailored to rice mill operations. This role requires expertise in electrical troubleshooting and repair, combined with a solid understanding of electrical safety standards to ensure efficient and safe plant operation. Familiarity with rice mill control panels, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and solar power systems is essential. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently without team management are important for success in this position. The Rice Mill Electric Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving the electrical systems within the mill to support uninterrupted production. The role focuses on applying technical knowledge to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical issues, and repair equipment to meet safety and operational standards. The engineer will collaborate with operational staff to understand system needs and implement power distribution improvements that increase efficiency and reliability. Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on all electrical machinery and equipment within the rice mill, including high voltage motors and control systems.
Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical installations to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, control panels, PLC systems, and power distribution networks promptly to minimize downtime.
Monitor and manage power distribution systems, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of electricity throughout the mill.
Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities, electrical modifications, and repairs to support traceability and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to understand operational demands and provide technical input for system upgrades and installations.
Develop and implement electrical maintenance schedules and protocols to enhance equipment reliability.
Assist in the evaluation and integration of solar power systems as part of the mill's energy strategy.
Ensure all electrical work adheres to company policies and relevant safety regulations to protect personnel and equipment.
Provide technical support and training to staff on electrical safety practices and proper equipment use.
