Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with 6 to 15 years of professional experience for multiple locations including Hyderabad, Noida, Chennai, Pune, and Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be a proficient Full Stack Developer with a strong foundation in modern software engineering practices. This role involves end-to-end responsibility for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications, APIs, and cloud-based solutions. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that align with business goals and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and cloud-native solutions.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern frameworks.
- Participate actively in code reviews, sprint planning, testing, and deployment activities.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, optimize performance, and implement best practices.
- Manage data effectively using relational and NoSQL databases.
- Utilize containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Follow Agile and Scrum methodologies to deliver iterative and incremental software improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong programming skills in Java, .NET, or Python.
- Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and SOLID principles.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
- Experience working with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipeline tools.
- Practical knowledge of Agile and Scrum development processes.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Node.js, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL is a plus.
