We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented ACCA Qualified Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting clients with their financial requirements, including bookkeeping, tax compliance, and financial planning. This role requires a strong grasp of accounting principles, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and ensure precise financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients in the preparation of Self-Assessment accounts and tax returns.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records while ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Manage VAT processes, including adherence to Making Tax Digital requirements, payroll administration, and related financial reporting.
- Provide basic tax planning advice and support investment advisory services.
- Build and sustain strong professional relationships with clients to understand and address their financial needs.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of all financial reports.
Required Qualifications
- ACCA qualification is essential.
- Between 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- In-depth knowledge of Self-Assessment accounts and tax return preparation.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping and maintaining tax compliance.
- Familiarity with VAT processes, Making Tax Digital initiatives, payroll management, and basic tax planning.
- Basic understanding of investment advisory services.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills.
