We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Science tutor to provide engaging online lessons to students across the UK. This part-time role involves teaching Science subjects at GCSE and A Level standards via virtual platforms. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, possess strong communication skills, and have a genuine passion for helping students achieve academic success. The position requires availability during late evening hours Pakistan time and the ability to foster a positive, interactive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons online to students at various academic levels in the UK.
- Be available for teaching sessions between 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM Pakistan time, with classes scheduled flexibly within this timeframe.
- Effectively use online teaching tools and platforms to enhance student learning experiences.
- Regularly monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor to create a positive and encouraging virtual classroom atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience teaching Science subjects online to international students.
- Strong familiarity with GCSE and A Level Science curricula and content.
- Availability during the specified hours (9:00 PM to 1:00 AM Pakistan time) with access to reliable internet and a functioning laptop.
- Ability to effectively manage and engage students in a virtual classroom setting.
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt lesson plans as needed.
- Adherence to the dress code policy: professional attire in solid colors is required. Wearing a hijab is permitted; however, wearing a niqab is not allowed.
Compensation and Work Details
This is a remote, part-time position offering hourly pay ranging from Rs600.00 to Rs900.00, depending on the number of teaching hours completed.
