We are seeking a dedicated female Urdu teacher to instruct students from grades 1 to 5. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing lesson plans, developing lecture materials, and actively contributing to curriculum development. This role requires setting clear teaching and learning objectives, outlining how these will be taught and assessed, and ensuring that students acquire and consolidate the necessary knowledge, skills, and understanding appropriate to the subject.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed lesson plans and lecture materials tailored to students in grades 1 to 5.
- Actively participate in the development and enhancement of the Urdu curriculum.
- Identify clear teaching and learning objectives, specifying methods of instruction and assessment.
- Ensure students effectively acquire and retain subject knowledge, skills, and understanding.
- Maintain an engaging and supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and motivation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification of a BA/BS degree.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience teaching Urdu or in a similar teaching capacity.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective delivery skills in Urdu language instruction.
- Proficient computer skills to support lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities to manage classroom and curriculum demands.
- High energy level, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address classroom challenges.
Additional Information
- Work location is in person at PECHS Block 2, near Tariq Road.
- Working hours are from 7:45 AM to 2:10 PM, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays on.
- This is a full-time position.
