Key Responsibilities
The Fiberglass Technician will be responsible for fabricating, laminating, repairing, and finishing fiberglass components used in products related to energy, oil and gas, and security sectors. Daily tasks include preparing molds and surfaces, cutting and laying fiberglass materials, mixing and applying resins, ensuring proper curing, and conducting quality inspections on finished parts. The role requires the use of hand and power tools, adherence to technical drawings and work instructions, and strict compliance with safety and environmental guidelines. Collaboration with engineers and production team members to meet project deadlines, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and report any defects or process issues is essential.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have practical experience in fiberglass fabrication, lamination, and repair, preferably within industrial or manufacturing environments. The ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, work orders, and standard operating procedures is necessary. Proficiency in using hand and power tools for cutting, sanding, drilling, and finishing fiberglass parts is required. A strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and adherence to safety practices—including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of resins and chemicals—are critical. Physical capability to perform manual labor, including standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and working in workshop conditions, is essential. A team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a willingness to learn new methods and technologies are also important.
