The Fiberglass Technician will work full-time on-site, focusing on fabricating, laminating, repairing, and finishing fiberglass components used in products for the energy, oil and gas, and security industries. Daily tasks include preparing molds and surfaces, cutting and laying fiberglass materials, mixing and applying resins, and ensuring proper curing of parts. The technician will perform quality checks on finished components, utilize hand and power tools, and follow technical drawings and work instructions closely. Adherence to safety and environmental guidelines is essential. Collaboration with engineers and production team members is required to meet project deadlines, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and promptly report any defects or process issues.
Required Qualifications

The ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, work orders, and standard operating procedures is necessary. Proficiency in using hand and power tools for cutting, sanding, drilling, and finishing fiberglass parts is expected. A strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety practices—including the proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of resins and chemicals—is critical. The role demands physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and working in workshop conditions. A team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a willingness to learn new methods and technologies are also important.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
A basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in the energy, oil and gas, or related industries is advantageous. Candidates with a relevant technical diploma, vocational training, or equivalent hands-on experience in fiberglass or composite materials will be preferred. Clearpath offers a professional work environment that values continuous improvement and safety, providing employees with the chance to engage in meaningful projects that impact critical sectors.
