The Field Coordinator will support the implementation, monitoring and documentation of CFC baseline activities and Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) interventions across targeted districts in Balochistan. The role will involve regular field visits to verify activities, collect and analyze field-level data, and ensure accurate and complete documentation. The Field Coordinator will also support AAP and community engagement activities, identify implementation gaps, and prepare timely field monitoring reports. The position will coordinate closely with programme and field stakeholders and follow up on key action points to support effective programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Baseline Monitoring: Monitor and document CFC baseline activities, ensuring that planned activities are implemented as scheduled and that relevant information and supporting evidence are systematically collected.
  • Field Monitoring: Conduct regular field visits to verify the implementation of baseline activities and subsequently monitor SBC interventions under the CFC programme.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, compile and analyze field-level monitoring data to assess progress, identify gaps and generate key findings.
  • SBC Monitoring: Monitor CFC-related Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) interventions, including field activities, community participation, outreach and engagement.
  • Reporting: Prepare concise and timely field monitoring reports highlighting progress, key findings, challenges, gaps, action points and recommendations.
  • Data Quality and Verification: Verify the accuracy, completeness and consistency of information collected from the field and ensure that supporting evidence is properly maintained.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized records of field visits, monitoring findings, photographs and other evidence, action points and relevant CFC documentation.
  • AAP and Community Engagement: Support the monitoring and documentation of AAP and community engagement activities linked to CFC baseline activities and SBC interventions.
  • Coordination: Coordinate closely with the Provincial Consultant – AAP and Community Engagement and relevant programme and field stakeholders to facilitate effective monitoring and timely reporting.
  • Follow-up: Track key issues and action points identified through field monitoring and support follow-up with relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related field.

Required Experience

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in field monitoring, data collection, programme implementation or reporting.
  • Experience working with communities and/or development programmes is desirable.
  • Previous experience in SBC, AAP, community engagement or child-focused programmes will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with field-level data collection and digital data-collection tools is desirable.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Urdu.
  • Knowledge of Pashto and/or Balochi is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively in multicultural, cross-sectoral and field-based environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to project sites and remote communities.
  • Good skills in data collection, documentation, monitoring and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently, manage field assignments and meet reporting deadlines.

Travel Requirements

  • Regular travel between Quetta, Mastung and Killa Abdullah throughout the consultancy period.
  • Frequent field visits to all 20 CFCI villages—10 villages in each district—for monitoring and verification of activities.
  • Additional travel within Balochistan may be required based on programme needs
