Field Engineer - Robotics And AI

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Field Engineer based in Karachi to support advanced robotic and AI-enabled automation systems. This non-managerial role involves hands-on technical work including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and maintenance of automation equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, practical experience in robotics and automation, and the ability to work independently while traveling as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission robotic and AI-enabled automation systems at various customer locations.
- Perform field troubleshooting and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Conduct calibration and testing to ensure optimal system performance and accuracy.
- Deploy systems on-site, ensuring proper integration and functionality according to client requirements.
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance to sustain system reliability.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation related to installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide technical support and training as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a field engineering or technical support role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Solid understanding of robotics, automation systems, and their operational principles.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to automation and robotics applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in the field.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to customer sites within the region.
