We seeks a dedicated Field Security Officer with at least 10 years of experience to join our team. This role involves overseeing the safety and security of personnel and assets in challenging environments. The Field Security Officer leads a team of five security personnel, ensuring all operations adhere to established safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate is skilled in conducting detailed risk assessments, managing crisis situations effectively, and implementing robust physical security measures to protect field operations. The Field Security Officer works closely with management to develop and enforce security policies that maintain a safe working environment. This position requires strong leadership skills to guide the team in responding to security threats, coordinating emergency procedures, and maintaining clear communication channels during incidents. The officer also monitors the security landscape continuously, adapting plans to meet evolving risks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role is vital to safeguarding personnel and operational success in diverse and potentially high-risk field settings.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of five security personnel, providing clear guidance and support for daily security operations.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats to personnel, property, and operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain physical security measures, including access controls and surveillance systems.
  • Coordinate crisis management efforts by preparing response plans and leading emergency protocols during security incidents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the security environment continuously, updating strategies to address emerging risks effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to integrate security considerations into all operational plans and activities.
  • Train security team members on best practices for risk awareness, emergency response, and communication during incidents.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, assessments, and actions taken, ensuring clear documentation for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, organizational policies, and international security standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and vigilance among all field staff through ongoing awareness and training initiatives.
