We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to manage essential accounting functions within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate financial documentation, and supporting monthly closing and audit activities. This role demands strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners. The position is based in Karachi and requires in-person attendance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently to maintain smooth financial operations.
- Accurately and timely process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Prepare reconciliations for bank accounts, vendor statements, and general ledgers to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with monthly financial closing, reporting, and audit activities to maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on pending payments, and maintain detailed records to support cash flow management.
- Verify employee expense claims and ensure they comply with company guidelines.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
- Coordinate finance-related matters with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and resolution of issues.
- Perform additional finance and accounting tasks as assigned by the reporting manager to support the finance team’s objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Between 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with accounting or ERP software systems.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within teams.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Additional Information
- Monthly salary range is between Rs50,000 and Rs60,000.
- The role is based in Karachi and requires in-person attendance.
- Candidates will be asked about their ACCA qualification status, age, current salary, and availability to join immediately.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in finance is required.
