FINANCE CONTROLLER

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Finance Professional to join our team in Multan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and providing accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong expertise in accounting, budgeting, and financial controls, with a focus on maintaining transparency and safeguarding organizational assets.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate accounting records using QuickBooks.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and comprehensive financial reports for the management team and Board meetings.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide explanations for significant variances against the budget.
- Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts, identifying potential funding shortfalls proactively.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and perform other essential financial checks to ensure accuracy.

Compliance & Financial Controls
- Ensure full compliance with Kenyan tax laws and statutory requirements, including PAYE, VAT, and other applicable deductions.
- Maintain robust financial controls to protect the organization’s funds and assets.
- Coordinate the annual external audit process and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
- Oversee the proper recording, monitoring, and reporting of donor funds to meet accountability standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA-K qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax regulations and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in preparing financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
