- Prepare and organize budgets, financial summaries, expenditure reports, and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with external grant and fundraising consultants, ensuring timely and accurate financial, programmatic, and organizational information is provided.
- Manage banking and financial administration, including communication with banks and financial institutions as needed.
- Assist with researching, opening, verifying, and administering legitimate organizational bank accounts, payment services, and international financial platforms.
- Oversee KYC, verification, and other administrative documentation related to organizational financial accounts and services.
- Review important documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, maintaining well-organized records.
- Track deadlines, pending matters, and follow-up actions to ensure critical work is completed promptly.
- Coordinate across departments and confidently follow up with staff and external organizations to obtain necessary information and complete actions.
- Research solutions to financial, administrative, and operational challenges and present practical options to management.
- Support the Founder with complex administrative, financial, and organizational matters, including special projects requiring research, coordination, and follow-through.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial, banking, donor, employee, and organizational information.
- Keep the Founder informed of important deadlines, risks, pending matters, and actions requiring attention.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant experience in finance, banking, NGO/non-profit administration, executive operations, compliance, or funding support is strongly preferred.
- Strong financial literacy with the ability to understand budgets, expenditure records, banking documentation, and financial information.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, online research, and cloud-based documentation tools.
- Strong research, analytical, and independent learning abilities.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Experience working with banks, online financial platforms, institutional documentation, or KYC/compliance processes is advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Initiative and independent problem-solving capabilities.
- Professional communication, reliability, accountability, and strong follow-up skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
This is an office-based professional role and does not involve animal rescue, handling, or direct animal care duties. While an interest in animal welfare is welcome, the essential requirements are professional competence, integrity, intelligence, organization, and the ability to deliver results efficiently.
