Our customers include R&D organizations, OEMs, industrial firms, telecom operators, and government institutions throughout Pakistan. We are currently looking to hire a Finance Executive to join our team at the Karachi office.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter financial data into accounting and ERP systems, including invoices, vouchers, and payment entries.
- Maintain and regularly update customer and vendor account information.
- Prepare and update aging reports for receivables and payables to facilitate timely follow-ups.
- Enter and verify cheque details, ensuring proper documentation and timely posting.
- Keep comprehensive records of journal entries, bank transactions, and financial adjustments.
- Assist the finance team with monthly closing entries and account reconciliations.
- Scan and attach all relevant supporting documents within the financial software or digital records system.
- Ensure all financial entries comply with internal policies and procedures.
- Identify and promptly correct any data entry errors or inconsistencies.
- Support internal and external audits by organizing and providing required financial data.
- Coordinate with other departments to clarify data and follow up on financial matters.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive financial information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration with a focus on Finance (BBA Finance), BS in Accounting & Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
Work Schedule and Location
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with alternate Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- The position is based at SMCH Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi, Pakistan.
- This role requires in-person attendance at the office.
