Finance Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team for a 3-month paid onsite internship. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance within a professional environment. The intern will support the Finance team with daily financial operations, helping to maintain accurate records and assist in various accounting tasks while developing practical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting and finance-related tasks to support the team’s workflow.
- Maintain and update financial records and documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Perform data entry and record financial transactions promptly.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist in preparing, verifying, and filing invoices.
- Help with bank reconciliation and contribute to basic financial reporting.
- Organize and maintain financial documents and records systematically.
- Prepare Excel-based financial reports and summaries as needed.
- Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of all financial information handled.
- Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in B.Com, BBA (Finance), BS Accounting & Finance, ACCA, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including working knowledge of formulas, spreadsheets, and data management.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and maintaining financial records.
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Understanding of bank reconciliation and transaction recording is advantageous.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
